Izzy Blaber ‘19: Giving Thanks, Wherever You Are
I’ve had quite a lot of family and friends asking what I’d be doing for Thanksgiving whereas out of the U.S. – I, too, was considerably apprehensive about lacking this custom whereas away, because it’s certainly one of my favourite holidays. (Who doesn’t love a whole day devoted to giving thanks and consuming?!) So, once I heard that the Interfaith Alliance right here at AUI was organizing a giant Thanksgiving dinner for all of the trade college students and college from the U.S., I used to be overjoyed! They requested that everybody contribute one thing, whereas they would supply the turkeys and different necessities.
On condition that I’m residing in a dorm with minimal cooking supplies (and few acquainted components!), I made a decision to make flavored popcorn (with peanut butter, salt, chocolate, and so forth.). It turned out fairly properly.
